its a wet day at work!>its not raining outside.. in fact its blasting hot like a furnace again.. but my office bldg is raining like cats and dogs!! haha.. well fyi my office is in tanjong pagar.. one of those 4 level shophouse.. so our office is a puny tiny little room on the 2nd level.. and when i first opened the main door the newspapers i was supposed to carry in were all soaking wet!! i then looked up and the whole staircase was flooded.. *prayin to myself that there is no tsunami comin onto me when i open my office door* aniway i slowly walked up n opened my office door.. thankfully no tsunami.. lucky the office wasnt flooded or anything.. juz a small section where water seeped thru the ceiling.. nearer to my boss's table.. so when she arrived a little later than me, she kinda freaked out and thanked her heavens tat she brought her laptop home.. after looking for the landlord and tidyin up the place a little, she took the chance to go home early since she din wanna stay in a wet place wif a funni smell hehehhe... and of cos for the rest of the day its slack time for me hehe
we both tot it was the roof leaking but later we found out fr the landlord and contractor tat it was to do wif the fire alarm water jacket or smth like tat.. my boss wondered y there wasnt any warning system.. aniway.. the wall also got affected and the carpet is freakin wet... the place juz looked like a mess.. hopefully i dun hv to come to work one of the next few days when they do the painting hehe.... # posted by MinGMinG | 2:28 PM
