Peking duck>

hee yup had some peking duck which i bought back fr beijing but din hv a chance to taste it until wed cos i wanted kel to come back and try it tog wif my family... wah damn salty even without any sauce!!! the sauce itself tastes yucky anyway hahahaa...... also showed him the middle east "sweets" tat karen passed to me from a speaker who comes from jordan as she doesnt like sweets.... but they r not really sweets, more like little crispy snacks and they r soooo oily!!!!

went to get new heels on fri b4 goin to kel's sec sch classmate's wedding dinner on sat... think this is my first time proper attending a wedding dinner of someone ard (or not too far fr) my age.. previously is only my cousins' weddings.... hmm the food wasnt tat fantastic at arama hotel where the wedding was held, the emcees werent spontaneous enuff and the ballroom was kinda small for 30 tables.. definitely not in my list of hotels to hv my own wedding dinner at =p kel was sayin the atmosphere wasnt there... wat he meant was tat it wasnt as rowdy as a wedding dinner shd be like everybody making alot of noise and saying yum seng the whole dinner thru and making fun of the couple.. i feel the same way too =p hahaha aint i picking at alot of things and being soooo fussy abt the wedding dinner?? its really difficult to please everyone ba... wats most impt is the couple themselves whether they enjoy the dinner cos its their nite rite?? :)

the table we sat at were wif kel's other sec sch classmates... wah they disturb the groom by making him drink martell.. and of cos 6 of them guys did the usual yum seng until their throat ran hoarse (kel's throat has got infection nw)... and i was the oni galfren at tat table since no one else brought theirs or some were single... there was one part where they showed the groom proposing to the bride thru a video the groom made for her... and it was like some sort of confession moment... then kel's fren was telling kel "wah this sets the standard liao, u better buck up!" hahahahha.... scary... no wonder pple say dun bring ur gf to wedding dinners, the requirement only gets higher and higher each time =p

next up was my bro's 21st bday bash on sun (his bday's on mon tho)... haha no la my family had a get-together dinner wif my uncles tog at a restaurant located in chinatown known as Yong Chun Yuan... haha always pass by tat place when i walk to office fr the mrt... the food's much better than amara hahaha.... both kel and i shared and got him headphones as well as top up wif an angbao... haha uncle specifically asked us to bring cam so tat we can take pics wif the suckling pig we specially ordered for my bro to eat and the cam ran out of batt when we wanted to take pics! hhahhahahah me felt so paiseh..... kana boo-ed...

after the dinner kel and i went to get a wallet as a bday gift for kel's dad - so coincidentally his dad and my bro share the same bday!!! is tis fate or wad?? hahahahaha so tom hv another dinner lor but oni simple one la.... hv been havin too much "gd food" nowadays ahahhaa... kel havin another one at another wedding dinner next wkend...
