Happy Lunar New Year!>

wishing all of u a very Prosperous Lunar New Year! hope u hv much much money come in! and wish u much much happy! hahaha.... sorry watch too much jacky wu variety shows...

1st CNY day
hmm dunno y.. guess its cos i growing older tats y dun really feel the festive mood... abit sian cos of the yearly routine to go visiting relatives and nth to say or do much there... and also cousins gettin married one by one... an older female cousin gettin married this yr and another cousin younger than me by a yr gettin married next yr and has aredi bought a flat liao! hahahhaha.... time flies really fast.... all the aunties were saying we were oni babies one moment and nw we r going to be wives soon... last yr they din attack me but they took the chance tis yr to "shoot" me and ask when i bringing my bf hahahaha..... looks like i'm really getting old.. cos they even tot i was older than one of my older female cousins!!!! sadz!!! i better get rid of my curls soon - i tink they r the culprit hahahahhaa... sounds like they r more desperate than me and scared i dun get married hahahahhaa.....

the situation wasnt any better at kel's side too.... he got grilled on the 1st day abt me and for not bringing me there hahahhahaa.... and then on 2nd day his cousins still came and waited at his grandma place to see whether he wd bring me to visit her!!! haiyo when its time we will sure bring one la dun need so kanchong rite??? hahahahhaa.... muz give pleasant surprise and drop the bomb unexpectedly hahahahhaa.....

2nd CNY day
tis day kel's relatives came to his place... din wanna make an appearance so fast so i din visit his parents yet... but met kel and his frens at vivo to watch epic movie hahahaha... they wanted to catch ghost rider but i din wanna watch it so stupid me went to choose this movie... haiz big waste of time hahahahhaa..... had dinner at the new restaurant called earle under swensen... haiz another waste of time hahahaha... main course nt very nice leh but lucky the ice cream saved the day =p

3rd CNY day
nth much tis day.. wanted to go visit kel's parents but more relatives came to his place so din go... plus he was bz visiting colleagues so i get to rest at home =)

4th CNY day
haiz my 4th day wasnt veri gd tho.... no its nt becos i hv to go back to wrk... started off the day wif my left front tooth hurting me... esp when i press the area under the nose... guess its the wrk of the wisdom teeth pushing their pals to the front ba....

aniway the main thing was tat my paper got accepted for presentation at an event organized by NTU here in sg but even presenters hv to pay to speak.. however my company policy is to get speaking slots at events so tat we dun hv to pay for registration to attend events... so i had to make a call to the organizer to appeal waiving of the fee based on our co expertise and global outreach lor... she was saying tat they oni make exceptions for invited speakers who r usually very experienced in speaking and publishing journals and i got butted cos she said i sounded young to her!!!

so i explained saying i am representing the co experts to present the paper and it seems tat she oni looks at the person's credentials, nt based on the co.... cant believe she's sayin all this juz to earn tat extra USD750. i used another point saying we could promote their event to our clients and she even suggested tat if we can get 10 pple to register thru us, she may consider giving me the free slot!!! piangz!!! i even tried tempting her wif a free registration at our own conference in beijing and she even boldly suggested tat we hv to pay flight/accommodation costs juz for this exchange!!! gosh i really felt insulted manz...

haiz tat was a really bad moment b4 i went for our co CNY lunch wif the accountant and her staff...the restaurant was oni across the road fr my office and the food was not bad given the reasonable prices... it was smooth sailing for the rest of the day until after wrk, stupid me went to bank in a cheque tat was dated the next day!!! oni realized it later but too late to go back to retrieve aniway cos the bank was closed aredi rite??? it was oni 5 hrs to midnite the next day so i was praying tat there was no staff doing OT processing cheques and dishonoring mine... up to nw haven receive any calls so maybe i'm safe =)

then came the last straw when i got home buying coke downstairs... the bottle costs $1.35 so i gave the cashier $2.05 in two-$1 coins and 1-5c coin... i din say out loud tat i was going to give her 5c so i purposely placed the 3 gold coins on her hand... and when she gave me back the change she gave me 65c leh!!! i told her i had given her 5c and she said she din see any!!! piangz... haiz nvm i told her keep the 5c i dun wan it... well i noe its oni the little things tat happened but cant help but feel tat i cant seem to do anything rite today... so feeling like tis song nw altho its abit unlucky for CNY la... wat to do? juz hope tat things get better!
