Our 1st yr anniversary>

started the day wif going to an event called Asia Automotive Conference and we had 2 media passes using our mag (which means free reg)... karen was sup to be here to promote our mags since she's marketing manager now but was away on a tour to vietnam so here i was instead manning the booth and giving out mags... indian colleague kuntal looks after automotive emissions so he went in to listen to the presentations... knew i wd get bored sitting there so brought my laptop along to do some wrk..

received a msg in the morn fr my new colleague lucky who's alone in the office askin me whether it was my bday cos she received on my behalf, as quoted, "a huge lilies bouquet"!!! hahah i told her its nt my bday but my 1st yr anniversary wif bf so tats y he sent flowers ba... wow bf has sprung yet another surprise on me unknowingly and tis time so paiseh colleague knows abt it... hopefully she wun spread it to other colleagues when she sees them next wk hahaha....

after the afternoon coffee break, rushed back to the office to put back my laptop so tat i dun hv to carry it home... accountant also came in and saw the lilies and also asked whether it was my bday hahahaa..... hmm hw nice it is to hv multiple bdays in a yr so tat i nvr stop receiving flowers???? hahahhhaa i replied her and she told me better take pic wif the flowers to show evidence to kel when he becomes my future husb in case he wun give me flowers anymore after we get married!!!!!! hahhahaha wise words fr a married aunty =)

went home first to change and then met wif kel at hougang for dinner.. cos we went back to bliss restaurant where we had one of our first dates so tat place is quite memorable for us =) brought the flowers along so tat we could take pics =p lovely arent they? first time i receive lilies... haha bf was mentioning tat i am the oni gal whom he has sent many flowers to... first time he gave lilies to a gal... first time he has given more than 5 flowers in a yr... first time blah blah blah... wah shows hw "romantic" he was in the past... haha no la given tat he's a traditional and rather "egoistic" male, hv to gif him credit for this ya? can see the uncomfortable way he was holding the flowers hahaha.... but really sweet of him to do tis for me! and u muz be wondering wat i got for him in return?? well an FX briefcase cos the zipper on his current wasnt wrkg well...

after finishing our dinner and taking a stroll ard the mini lake at punggol park, we left early cos his throat wasnt feelin well... even tho the dinner was short, it din matter to me cos wats most impt is tat we stay happy tog and our relationship lasts long long! may there be many many more anniversaries to come!!!
